This cap is made of high strength tool steel, with the height modified to sit flush with the bottom surface of the block, for very easy and strong girdle fitment! It's never been easier to strengthen up the bottom end of your S54 engine!
These caps are slightly different than those for the M50b25 and M20b25, and are not directly compatible.
Return policy
As with all cap changes (or service), your block will need to have the main bearing surface precision machined after fitting these. These caps are also compatible with many other BMW engines as they often share the same cap dimensions.
