It's finally possible to have a 1500-3000hp turbo, that doesn't weigh 30kg! This lightweight turbine housing has stiffening ribs to maintain rigidity while cutting a full 10kg off the reference Garrett housing.
Return policy
According to the first test customer (testing the GTX55 version), the well designed geometry of this housing matches the spool rpm of a Garrett 1.0 A/R housing. While also providing a 20% reduction in back pressure for the same boost pressure.
Due to the complexity of the housings stiffening ribs, it needs to be investment cast. Unfortunately making it expensive. But provides a huge weight reduction, and very good performance. While also being much more compact than the reference Garrett housing.
Flanges, turbine wheel "mating" surface, and transitions are 5 axis cnc machined.
